knowledge. Each
session focuses on the concepts and methods of a traditional fund-raising
program and includes a file of planning tools, worksheets and take-back-to-the

"As a trustee, the
information in this course has been of great value. I feel I have a
much greater appreciation for the job that my organization's development
staff does, and for what a trustee's development responsibilities are.
I am a better trustee for having been through this course."
-- Mary R. Miller, Trustee,
Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital
"As an executive
director without a development staff, this course helped bring me
up-to-date on current thinking in fund raising. It also provided me
with materials and information to share with my board of trustees about
their role in fund raising."
-- Steve Hansler, Executive
Director, Maximum Independent Living
"Resource
Development Network's comprehensive course in not-for-profit development
offers lively presentations by recognized leaders and a wealth of
well-organized written material. It is well worth the time and
money."
-- Perry L. White, Executive
Director, Citizens' Academy "Over
the last several years, we have enrolled a Cleveland Zoological Society
staff member in "Principles of Successful Fund-Raising. This course is
perfect as a complete introductory course for a beginner or a great review
for a veteran. "
-- Liz Fowler,
Executive Director, Cleveland Zoological Society
"Enrolling in this
course was an excellent investment for the Foodbank! the faculty and
guest speakers shared successful fund raising philosophies and practical
experiences. The best part is -- we now have a comprehensive 'workbook'
of handouts, samples and guidelines for our development sgtaff, our board and
other volunteers."
-- Josie McElroy, Director of Development, Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank
